A number of these continue to threaten to land a decent pot, notably CHANCERY and Glenard. The latter is dropped to this trip for the first time since September whilst the former continues to perform creditably in very good company, his last four runs coming in contests won by Battalion, Arab Spring, Sheikhzayedroad and Farraaj. He's due a change of luck and is given the nod as he will not be troubled by any significant ground change. Retirement Plan is the possible improver and the booking of Ryan Moore for the Cecil team is of real interest, although the Juddmonte colt did blow out on his reappearance and has subsequently been given a good rest. Expert Fighter benefited from a superlative Fallon ride last time but this is tougher and Pallasator, a tremendous second to De Rigeur in the Old Newton Cup after nine months off last time, looks a real threat on only his eighth career start.
