WASHINGTON DC (NAP) won the Windsor Castle here last summer and gave stablemate and 2000 Guineas favourite Air Force Blue a fright in the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh in August. He wasn't hard pressed to win a Listed race over 7f at Dundalk on his reappearance and will have plenty of options this year. He's impossible to oppose getting 3lb from comfortable Newmarket winner Gifted Master. Dhahmaan won a Listed race over this trip at Doncaster on his final start last year and should win more races while Priceless is better than he showed at Newmarket in October. C Note has more scope than the likes of Gracious John and Orvar but this looks a big ask for fellow maiden winner Dream Dubai.
