Verdict
Champagne Court doesn’t know how to run a bad race but usually finds at least one too good. DANNY KIRWAN weakened quickly once headed at Sandown earlier this month but beat a subsequent winner by 10 lengths at Wincanton earlier and was a fair fourth at Kempton on Boxing Day when the exuberant Bothwell Bridge was an early faller – the latter may be in need of a confidence-booster. Not Available can’t be ignored as he will handle the step up in trip but Pilbara is worth opposing again.
