Tizzy May has been unfortunate to find one too good of late and can now gain due reward at the expense of Regal Agenda and Counsel's Opinion. Richard Hannon's colt has not visited the winner's enclosure since gaining back-to back victories on his first two career outings. His three-year-old campaign has taken in the 2,000 Guineas, and a decent handicap at Haydock, while of late he has been threatening to score, most recently on a return to the Lancashire track, despite the softish ground. This would appear to be his easiest task to date, although Regal Agenda will have some support. Henry Cecil's inmate made a belated and bright start to the season when winning at Redcar, but it is debatable whether he beat anything of note. Counsel's Opinion battled his way to victory at Newbury in May but has been set some stiff tasks at the weights. He should make his presence felt in this classified event, but Tizzy May is overdue a win and his time may have finally arrived.
