Verdict

On their running over course and distance at the Royal meeting, Coy looks to have a great chance of reversing placings with her conqueror on that occasion, Celtic Heroine, with Snow Goose a possibility for the frame. Coy has an 8lb pull for half-a-length in the Sandringham Stakes, and comes here freshened up after over a month off since those exertions. Though Sir Michael Stoute is not in the form of his life at present, he is still having winners and Kieren Fallon is certainly riding as well as ever, so he looks good enough to partner her to victory. Celtic Heroine was outfaced by the 10 furlongs at Newmarket last time, but ran well enough in conditions company in her attempt to follow up that Royal success in between the two. Strictly on that Sandringham running she can't win this, but she can go very well again and make the minors. The same can be said of Snow Goose, who carries bottom weight here. She was not helped by slow ground when trying this trip for the first time at Sandown earlier in the month. With faster ground to help, she looks well suited to a mile and we can see her running a big race here under Richard Quinn, but we will stick with Coy to do the business.
