Rayhani can continue on an upward curve, with Ogee, Scriptwriter and Cedar Mountain just a few more with claims. Marcus Tregoning is hopeful that Rayhani can go on to make his mark in Listed company at least in time, and is extremely hopeful that the son of Theatrical can follow up what was an impressive Newmarket comeback success. A rise of 9lb is not prohibitive given the likely improvement, and he should make a bold bid before having a crack at something like the Northumberland Plate. As long as the rain stays away, he commands the utmost respect. Ogee is also pencilled in for the Plate, and should now be spot on as he bids to turn the tables on Cedar Mountain who was a place ahead of him at Kempton. In truth though, both need to raise their game, and a bigger threat to the selection may well be yet another Plate entry Scriptwriter who scraped home in Listed company at Hamilton, but who has a lot more to offer, given that he is lightly-raced for a five-year-old. The market should be noted for the the likes of Futan and Strategic Mount, but Rayhani should prove hard to peg back.
