In depth

Verdict

Ray‘s The One is fit from the all-weather and back on a winning mark while Havaila has also been in action on the Flat, though has only won a match so far over hurdles. Poncho has fallen the last twice but could figure with a clear round and Jagwar is unexposed. Bad has every chance on his second to Hansard in the Grade 3 Gerry Fielden at Newbury, despite a 2lb rise, but IMMORTAL is fancied to finally fulfil his undoubted potential on only his second run in a handicap. Toonagh Warrior is improving and got off the mark at Wetherby last month but the second was pulled up subsequently at Hexham.
