In depth

Verdict

Fable was chasing last season but has won twice over hurdles. Fifty Ball’s last win came over course and distance and off a 9lb higher mark but Doncaster winner Immortal Fame steps up in grade while Halifax is probably better over 3m nowadays, though has won three times this year. REBEL INTENTIONS didn’t quite last home over a longer trip last time but an earlier victory on the track is working out well and Joe Anderson is one of the more experienced riding in this. Delgany Blue Boy and Roger Pol still have some scope and Magic Seven is 2-2 over hurdles ahead of his handicap debut.
