Get Real, four times a winner at Ascot, was unable to dominate here last month having been taken on for the lead by Ei Ei but may be able to take the field on today. With the less testing conditions also in his favour, the 11-year-old has to be respected, especially with his stable in such fine form. However, the winner of that race, Shamawan, looks a progressive chaser and although meeting Nicky Henderson's gelding on 8lb worse terms is taken to follow up. Unlucky when falling three out at Southwell previously, Jonjo O'Neill's horse won with plenty in hand over course and distance and, while he might be the type not to find much of the bridle, the seven-year-old may still be ahead of the handicapper. Topweight Seebald lost no caste in defeat behind Edredon Bleu on his reappearance but seems handicapped to the hilt, a comment that also applies to Davoski. The Richard Phillips-trained Dark'n Sharp returns to chasing having found Rooster Booster too good over hurdles recently and remains well enough treated judged by previous efforts over fences this season. Young Devereaux is potentially well-in but has a long absence to overcome, while Batswing has disappointed in both starts this term.
