We have an Australian invasion for this renewal of the Kings Stand stakes with Takeover Target, Bentley's Biscuit and Miss Andretti all boasting excellent form, however we are going for a bit of value here with the Kevin Ryan trained Desert Lord. The stable have bypassed a few decent races to wait for this contest and on the pick of last season's form he has tio be a strong contender. He had the top european sprinters behind when landing the Prix de L'Abbaye at Longchamp last October and there is no reason why he shouldn't beat them all again this afternoon. With that said there is the matter of the Aussie trio to worry about. Takeover Target is rated one of the top ten sprinters in the world and returned to form last time out. Bentley's Biscuit just got the better of that rival on his last run and may just have his measure again. Miss Andretti though could have the measure of them both. She is progressing at a rate of knots and having beaten some top performers in three races this season she will not go down without a fight in her bid for a four-timer. Tax free is as tough as they come and looks another strong contender from the home team, but if Desert Lord is at his best he will prove hard to beat.
