The Handicapper looks to have taken no chances with Jabaar, who left a favourable impression at Newmarket. He is an improving colt and although he has to race off a 13lb higher mark in this, he could still prove to be well treated. Last years winner Takamaka Bay has to race off a 3lb higher mark, but he will have to put behind him a disappointing effort on his re-appearance at Epsom. Solo Flight, sixth in last years event, is 3lb better off with the winner, but he is a horse who needs things to go his way and is not one to rely on. Demi Beau, battled on too bravely for the reluctant Compton Commander at Newmarket and should again hold his rival on slightly worse terms, but the thrid that day, Thundering Surf, will be better suited by this larger field and would be a danger if putting his best foot forward. Averted View, may find this trip too far, while Night Sight, in good form lately, has more to do off this mark. Inducement, the winner of a claimer on his latest outing, will find this too cometitive, while his former stablemate Anikitos, looks too high in the weights. Holy Orders, close up behind Gold Cup fancy Vinnie Roe at Leoparstown, Dawari, who may improve for the visor and Red Carnation are others to consider.
