Aidan O'Brien sets a poser here with both Spartacus and Statue Of Liberty in opposition. The former, an impressive winner of a small race at Gowran park, looks one to keep on the right side, but whether he will be suited by this drop in trip, one cannot be sure. Statue Of Liberty, a half-brother to the high class North American horse Lemon Drop Kid, is sure to have improved for his debut and could well be the one to beat. The home challengers are led by Surbiton, who turned in a workmanlike display when disposing of the well regarded Rahaf at Doncaster. Barry Hills' chestnut colt, had clearly learnt from his debut at Newbury, where he was just behind Kawagino. The latter, who has been off the course since then, could run well at a big price. Coconut Penang has done nothing wrong, but he has it all to do from his outside draw, while Goodwood winner Western Fling, will have learnt plenty from his debut and looks sure to be in the shake up. Royal Beacon would need to step up on his York run to have a say in this, while the Hannon pair Tacitus and Tizzy May, are both worthy of a mention. Sir Edwin Landseer, did nothing wrong when disposing of subsequent winner Fovant at Newbury and could run into a place, but Membership, the winner of a slowly run event at Yarmouth, Leitrim Rock, who will be wearing blinkers for the first time and The KiddyKid, all look to have too much on here.
