The Curragh winner Mashhoor is preferred to Longbourn and the returning Ever Present of the Irish runners. Cemhaan is on a roll and is likely to have his ground again while Brilliant Light has won over this trip on the all-weather, though a recent victory at Ripon came over 1m2f. JUST FINE, owned by The Queen, looks to have been laid out for this by Sir Michael Stoute. He still made a promising reappearance at York despite missing the break and finding trouble in-running. Sir Rumi often flatters to deceive but Contact has an excellent strike-rate and arrives on a hat-trick while Moktasaab is worth another try over this trip. Stay Well is another worth a second look and beat Candleford at Kempton in the autumn, though the latter is now 4lb better off. Trawlerman made a winning start in handicaps at Chelmsford and won on fast going at Pontefract last year so should give Frankie a good ride from what looks a decent draw.
