In depth

Formwatch

First Love Won last time at Towcester on heavy and has to be considered here.

Order A winner at Huntingdon on good ground last April; carries a penalty for that and might be vulnerable to one or two less exposed types.

Amateur Dramatics Nothing immediately obvious about his chances today.

Beethoven (IRE) Trainer does get some decent bumper horses and there is some evidence of National Hunt ability in the family.

Chateau Rose (IRE) Bred for chasing and may come on for the experience today.

East Hill (IRE) Third in a Ludlow bumper on soft on Dec 21; entitled to come on for that but more required today.

Felixrdotcom Related to a couple of jumping winners; holds possibilities.

Just Another Punt (IRE) From a stable that has to be respected; dam stayed in excess of 2m4f; by one of the stallions of the moment, Be My Native.

Midnight Emperor (IRE) Decent efforts on two good to firm bumpers two years ago; likely to need this.

Milnstorm (IRE) Stable won this last year although the stable jockey rides Miss Knight's other horse in the race; bred for jumping.

Phildari (IRE) Cannot be discarded on basis of breeding and the fact that stable knows how to get them ready first time up.

Radlett (IRE) Down the field in a Newbury bumper just under a year ago; at least he has some experience.

Royal Buckingham (IRE) Won a Ludlow bumper on good ground last January then ran unplaced at the Cheltenham Festival; needs to improve on what we've seen so far.

The Warrior (IRE) Has tried pointing; can't readily build a case for him.

Glen Princess (IRE) There is some jumping success in her breeding but the stable is not a readily identifiable source of winners in these events.

Golden Crusader Some promise in a Kempton bumper on Jan 29; entitled to improve but more needed here.

Jakari (FR) Stable's horses more usually have chasing in mind, and this one probably falls into that category.

Jaloux d'Estruval (FR) Well-related in chasing terms so may need time.

Jordan Aulmes (FR) Stable also has Phildari in the race; nothing too obvious about its chances but stable has to be respected.

Stars Out Tonight (IRE) Running in the same colours as Edredon Bleu and Best Mate, there have been some good reports about this gelding; the market may provide something of a guide.
