Soar is certainly bred for speed and can take a hand in the finish here along with Don't Tell Mum. But Lady Filly and Sharplaw Star are just preferred, with the latter getting our vote. Willie Haggas's filly made a most favourable impression when successful on her debut at Leicester. She clearly knew her job, as she was smartly away and forced to race wide of the pack, before displaying a smart turn of foot to settle the issue approaching the final furlong. With normal improvement she will be very hard to beat. Soar was just as impressive when easily landing a Kempton maiden earlier this month. She is very highly thought of by connections and is certain to be well supported . Lady Filly is one of the more experienced runners in the field having completed a hat-trick of wins with an emphatic four length defeat of Azuree in a conditions race at Salisbury. She goes from strength to strength and it would be no surprise if she were to land the four-timer. Richard Hannon's juveniles are in terrific form this season and he relies on Don't Tell Mum who, although only landing a class F event last time, did it in very game fashion. She was headed by the runner-up inside the final 150 yards, but rallied superbly and got back up close home. Tim Easterby's Miss Meggy and James Given's Gloved Hand are two more to add to the mix, but big things are expected of Sharplaw Star and she is taken to land first prize.
