Joao Moreira, known as Magic Man, has ridden three winners at the Shergar Cup and partners LA YAKEL for the Haggas yard. He was beaten only a neck over track and trip last month and is preferred to stablemate and last year’s winner Pride Of Priory, who can race off the same mark today. Max Mayhem finished well ahead of Nolton Cross when going close here recently while the progressive Youthful King won easily at Windsor and Olivier Peslier takes over the reins. Scampi and Andaleep could also go well back over this longer trip.
