Providing they go quick PROHIBIT could be about to bounce back to winning ways; last-time-out winners Monsieur Joe, Present Alchemy and Archers Road rate best of the remainder. Frankie Dettori takes the ride on our selection for the first time today and his record when riding for the yard is a strong one, thanks in large part to the exploits of Canadian Danehill. After taking second over six furlongs at Windsor despite having a poor draw, connections must be hopeful they've got a ready-made replacement for that admirable front-runner in the shape of Prohibit, who travelled sweetly in the first-time cheek-pieces. With that in mind we hope he can prove as effective over five furlongs, trying it as he is for the first time, and are keen to get him on side here. Monsieur Joe is 6lbs higher than when winning at Leicester, a performance that confirmed his liking for quick ground and a stiff finish, however this is tougher and that form has been let down since. Archers Road is another with plenty of top quality juvenile form and he returned with a bang to win at Chester. He wouldn't have looked an obvious contender for the follow-up but the handicapper has given him a chance off just a one pound higher mark. Present Alchemy seems suited by conditions and was impressive when beating a solid yardstick last time; he's unexposed and capable of a deal more. Sonny Red has won over course and distance but may prefer cut while Rowe Park is flattered by his rating, so we'll return to Prohibit.
