Verdict

JAADU wasn't beaten that far despite only finishing sixth at Newmarket on his debut last week. That looks stronger form than Beaverbrook and Meghwar's respective debut efforts and he gets the vote to return Mick Channon's fourth winner in the last eight renewals. Of the newcomers, Paddy Power and Take The Helm are related to winning sprinters and make more appeal than Steady Pace. But King Of Rooks could prove a bigger threat on his introduction given he is a half-brother to a couple of winning sprinters winners including a Group 3 winner in Italy.
