Only two horses have carried more than nine stone to victory in this in the last 10 years. Those drawn high prevailed last year when Glen Moss finished second but he has a low stall number this time round. Big Baz is also drawn low after a good third in the Spring Cup at Newbury with Buckstay well beaten. There was little between Speculative Bid and Outback Traveller at Kempton last time but they exit from opposite ends of the draw today. So Beloved ran well on his return to action at Thirsk and Shared Equity went close on his reappearance at Doncaster. Shyron ran a shocker at Lingfield last time but LUNAR DEITY ran a big race behind Grey Mirage in an All-Weather Championship race at the same track. He beat Big Baz before that and could go close. Zarwaan, Dream Spirit and Russian Realm are others to consider.
