Dorback was a major disappointment when well-backed at Doncaster and the ground may not be soft enough for him here. Kanaf can race off the same mark as when runner-up to the prolific Collect Art at Yarmouth and holds Oil Strike on that run, but the enigmatic New Leyf was put up 7lb after winning at Doncaster while stablemate Ivory Silk is 6lb higher that when scoring at Newmarket last month. The latter had also finished behind SOAP WARS at Windsor earlier. Hugo Palmer's gelding could only finish fourth when favourite at Goodwood next time and is 3lb higher now but promising apprentice Lucy Barry takes 7lb off here and the six-year-old looks the one to beat. John Best runs Kingsgate Choice and last month's Epsom second Reposer and they may prove the pick of the remainder.
