Verdict

Alsadaa looks to be on the way back while Mountain Hiker and Dazinski are closely matched on their run together behind Bollin Judith at York last month, though Jeremy Noseda's four-year-old is fancied to have the edge in their personal battle again despite the latter having run well again since over a longer trip at Pontefract. Plato's second to Chiberta King over 1m6f at Goodwood was franked when the winner landed a Listed contest at Sandown earlier this month. There's every chance that Sir Henry Cecil's charge will see out the extra here but he has to give 8lb to the unexposed ROBERTO PEGASUS. Pat Phelan's charge, winner of his only two starts to date, is also trying 2m for the first time but the way he finished over 1m5f at Newmarket on his reappearance suggests the trip should be within his compass and he gets the vote.
