    Verdict

Baradar beat several of these in a valuable handicap over track and trip in July and won again at Doncaster last month. Popmaster is penalised having landed a Listed race at Newbury though was beaten by the progressive Quinault over track and trip before that when Hickory finished third. Fresh and Biggles have something to find on this season’s form and so does ESCOBAR. But the latter came good in this contest last year off a 13lb higher mark with Rhoscolyn and Blue For You behind and a chance is taken David O’Meara’s charge can bounce back off his current mark with cheekpieces added.
