Verdict

Gambon made a promising start in a 6f maiden here in July that’s worked out really well. Bangkok was clear of the remainder when only beaten a neck on his debut at Newmarket two weeks ago but Red Armada and El Picador need to take a step forward from their initial efforts to figure. PRINCE EIJI is by Dubawi out of a dual Group 1 winner who has already produced a couple of useful performers. Roger Varian’s colt cost 2.6million gns as a yearling and has an entry in the Dewhurst so could be anything. Murray River has a nice middle-distance pedigree and is also worth noting for future reference along with the stoutly-bred L'un Deux Trois.
