The 2019 winner Power of Darkness is a reserve but Raising Sand won this back in 2017, though finished behind DANCE FEVER here a fortnight ago. The latter was beaten less than a length over 7f in the International on that occasion and Clive Cox’ charge gets the vote in this less-competitive contest. Dashing Roger arrives in good form and will appreciate any rain while Vintager is another to consider having gone close again in this grade at Ayr last time. Revich showed signs of a revival when runner-up at Chester and Young Fire is at home at this level.
