Verdict

Saga failed to land the odds when second at Kempton last month to a William Haggas-trained winner. The latter has won two of the last three renewals and runs his new inmate THUNDER LEGEND, who easily won a maiden at Hamilton last term when beating a couple of subsequent winners with the rest nowhere. Alflaila and Claim The Crown return to action with a shout but American Star is 8lb higher than last season’s success at Newbury while Honky Tonk Man, War In Heaven and Tylos are all upped in class, though the latter’s yard is in red-hot form.
