In depth

Verdict

EXCITING NEWS missed what looked an easier opportunity at Kempton yesterday and may prove good enough on last month’s debut second at Wetherby. Follow That Star and Wonderful Times found only one too good on their latest starts with jockey bookings suggesting the latter is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Judith while Spyfall finished in front of Dancing Tango and Perfect Alibi when runner-up at Newbury. Tom Marquand sticks with the latter rather than stable companion Crystal Caves, a half-sister to a host of winners.
