Verdict

Signs Of Blessings beat older horses in a Group 3 in Germany in August for which he's penalised but is obviously very smart and must be on the short-list. The lightly-raced and progressive Danzeno has also scored at this level and was attempting to concede Badr Al Badoor 10lb when beaten a head in a Doncaster handicap last time so is 4lb better off. Intibaah is getting better with every run and certainly deserves a crack at this grade as does the Ayr Gold Cup winner Louis The Pious, who has a victory over 7f on this track to his credit. Tropics had RECKLESS ABANDON just under a length behind in a Listed contest at Doncaster in August but the latter, the Prix Morny and Middle Park winner in 2012, was returning from an unsuccessful spell at stud. He looked a little bit disappointing when tackling the Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster where he found Mecca's Angel too strong but the winner has since scored easily in a Newbury Group 3 so the form looks good enough for this.
