Whitenzo (FR) Very progressive last term until the desperate ground at Aintree found him out. Lost little in defeat there though and comes here with very strong claims. Any softening of the ground would be a big plus.
Satchmo (IRE) His form tailed off a little towards the end of his campaign last term and he has a little to prove off a 7lb higher mark than for his last win at Huntingdon.
Chief's Song Won here three times over the years and is a very consistent type. Very sound each way claims.
Lord York (IRE) Should act on the track but any rain would dampen his chance.
Catfish Keith (IRE) Won on his first start for his new stable last week, carries a 4lb penalty for that success but David Crosses 7lb claim should help him with his burden. Should go well.
Barnburgh Boy All ground comes alike and he should give a good account of himself now the stable is beginning to step up a gear.
Iris Bleu (FR) Yet to get his name on the scoresheet since his arrival from France but may fare better in receiving weight in this company rather than the opposite in a lesser grade.
Major Sponsor (IRE) Likes to race with the pace but is dropping slightly in trip here and looks to have a little to find.
Auditty (IRE) In good form at present and has won or been placed in each of his seven outings more to do from an 8lb higher mark. Place claims look solid.
Buddy Marvel (IRE) Game winner over two and a half miles at Aintree last week but the drop in trip may go against him here, best watched.
