In depth

Formwatch

Rambo Flyer His form is difficult to assess in connection to this race, but he is Scandanavia's best hurdler and is entitled to take his chance. Last seen on these shores at Necwcastle for the Fighting Fifth last year, but he weakened very quickly out of contention before being pulled up 3 out; best watched.

Mr Markham (IRE) Has gone well here in the past and has mixed hurdling with fencing over the last couple of seasons. On his best form he would give them all something to think about; he should strip fitter for his outing at Cheltenham last week but may have to settle for a minor role again.

Bhutan (IRE) Capable on his day and hails from a stable in-form. He was a ready winner at Plumpton last time and should go well again if he is in the same mood. However, he does have a tendency to find one to good and is not one to get too heavily involved with.

Under The Sand (IRE) Another who may be hard to win with this season after some sterling efforts in his campaign last term; could go well but may just need the outing.

Romero Three times a course winner who should find conditions to his liking. Goes well fresh and may go well at a fair price.

Montreal (FR) Goes well fresh and seems to act on any ground, should go well.

Wesley's Lad (IRE) Poor strike rate and moderate reappearance effort at Huntingdon last month make him hard to fancy here.

Colombian Green (IRE) Not the easiest of rides but has bags of ability. His confidence will have received a major boost after scoring at Hereford last time out and he could well follow up if he is in the same frame of mind.

Thats All Folks Another who is capable of a bold show on ground that should suit. However, he may just need the run after almost a year off the track.

Perfect Venue (IRE) Another who is capable of getting involved in the shake-up if on song but his efforts last term leave him with a little to find.
