    Verdict

GOLDEN STEPS was beaten only a nose in the Shergar Cup Sprint over course and distance in August. Marco Botti's charge can confirm running with Telmeyd and go one better in this. Mr Win won nicely at Newmarket on his latest start but has a 9lb hike to contend with while Expert has been thereabouts in this grade of late but over the longer trip of 7f. Lexington Abbey was not at his best in the Ayr Silver Cup last time but is still preferred to recent winners Red Pike and Munfallet who are both up in class today.
