Minzaal is making a belated reappearance but won the Gimcrack last year before finishing second in the Middle Park. Dakota Gold won this in 2019 and again last year when it was run at Nottingham. But he hasn’t been in the same form this season, finishing behind Tis Marvellous and SIGNIFICANTLY in the Beverley Bullet last time. The latter didn’t get the run of the race that day and finished much closer to Clive Cox’ gelding at Newbury in the race won by Hurricane Ivor. Karl Burke’s three-year-old may be the pick of the weights today even though he finished just behind Strong Johnson in the Flying Five at the Curragh with the latter running well under a big weight in a valuable Curragh handicap subsequently. Keep Busy was fifth in the King’s Stand here in June so can’t be ignored.
