ROBERT THE PAINTER was beaten less than a length in a similar classified event over track and trip last month and Lee Carter's charge should be bang there at the finish once again. Georgian Bay won a Class 2 handicap at Kempton last time and can race off the same mark today but he has yet to win in 16 starts on Turf while Athletic also drops in class after a second at Newmarket and can figure. Malaf was well beaten in the Britannia here in June and has not raced since while Saucy Minx and George Cinq can be given a chance in this grade and are preferred to Roxy Star.
