In depth

Formwatch

Bramblehill Duke (IRE) Had a successful time last season and is quite high in the weights due to that; however, should appreciate lay-off and is the danger to the selection.

Kit Smartie (IRE) Certainly knows where the winner's enclosure is and goes well after a break; trainer slightly out of form so passed over for that reason.

Ryalux (IRE) In and out performer who has a good chance if at best but with stable not firing others are preferred.

Nosam Is a model of consistency and with trainer flying at present must be feared; one for the short-list and definite placepot material.

Prominent Profile (IRE) Returns from lengthy absence and trainer is well known for producing them back at peak fitness; however, impossible to know how he has progressed.

Monnaie Forte (IRE) Has been falling in the weights but back on a winning mark now; has everything in his favour and has the speed and form to win this.

Buddy Marvel (IRE) Can take a hand at the finish but impossible to know if this character will put his best foot forward.

River Dawn (IRE) Lightly-raced and has obviously had training difficulties; chances at best but likely to find one or two too good.

Gortmore Mews (IRE) Has had his problems and makes return here; trainer can certainly produce them to win after a lay-off but this race is very competitive.

Flat Top Has conditions to suit here and it would be no surprise to see a solid performance but has a bit to find with some of these.

Native Man (IRE) Put in a creditable reappearance and can improve on that; eye-catching jockey booking but will need to improve quite a bit to win this.

Gayles And Showers (IRE) Below par last time and stable out of form; one to keep an eye on in the future.

Harik Versatile performer on Flat and under Rules but may not quite be up to taking on this decent field.

Manasis (NZ) Ran poorly last time out but can be expected to run better with stable firing on all cylinders; however will find a few too good.

Storm Tiger (IRE) Consistent type at slightly shorter than this but is well weighted at present; yard is in form and holds each-way hopes if getting this trip.
