Verdict

Sykes won this last year for Philip Hobbs with Ciaran Gethings in the saddle. The pair team up again this year with top weight Scoop The Pot but the Withycombe trainer also runs April's Chepstow winner ONE COOL SCORPION, who looks better treated so gets the vote. Kerrow was just in front when falling at the last at Wetherby in May and races off the same mark so rates a danger. The versatile Ueueteotl also warrants a mention but Uttoxeter third Tantamount continues to creep up the handicap and Desert Sensation was bumped up 11lb after landing a minor contest at Fontwell.
