    Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices hurdle and many can be given chances on there best form but a chance is taken on Showpiece. The gelding from the Charlie Mann yard was a good fourth on his debut over hurdles behind Caracciola and this looks much easier and he will be hard to beat with conditions sure to suit. Radcliffe would be the main danger on his best form but that has come with cut in the ground and he has disappointed of late on faster ground. Night Driver is another that could go well but his best form is also on much softer ground. Sparkling Water was a fair third on his debut behind Be Fair but he pulled hard on that occasion and again he may not last home. Of the remainder Carapuce is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
