Verdict

Aslukgoes beat Masaccio, Shinji and Bowenspark when making it 3-3 in a Listed contest at Newbury but this is his toughest task to date. Bertie's Ballet also hails from an unfashionable yard but the merit of his Kelso victory should not be underestimated and he is still improving. Though beaten by the subsequent Champion Bumper sixth Captain Cody at Limerick in January, BLIZZARD OF OZ was still showing signs of inexperience. He easily justified favouritism at Cork next time and is rated highly among a yard with an abundance of smart bumper horses. Go To War won on his debut in October and his yard won the mares’ bumper here on Thursday and Musselburgh scorer Florida Dreams also looks a nice prospect. Hasthing was second on his UK debut but Centara makes more appeal on an easy win at Taunton. Samui may be the pick of the four-year-olds.
