In depth

Formwatch

Deano's Beeno Top class staying hurdler; suited to good or soft going and although sometimes looks a tricky ride is one to consider here.

Birkdale (IRE) Returns to hurdles after being tried over fences; stays this trip well although may prefer more rain.

Carlovent (FR) Looks a little out of his depth in this contest.

Ballet-K Tough and genuine mare who should stay this trip well; acts on any going; excellent chance.

Polar Champ Prolific winner this season in lower grade; this is a major step up in class but recent break should have helped and may sneak a place.

The Proms (IRE) Has a bit to find with Deano's Beano on January running; suited by a soft surface and sure to run a big race.

Manx Magic (USA) Not one to totally trust but will stay the trip and will appreciate any rain.

Wain Mountain Looks on the upgrade; won well at Haydock last time out, will apreciate the ground and trip; live chance.

Springfield Scally This scally is genuine, game and tough; good 2nd to Bicycle Thief on latest outing on very testing ground; likes to front run and should run a good race.

No Tale To Tell (IRE) Looks out of his depth in this class.

Iris Royal (FR) May stuggle from so far out of the handicap.

Highland (IRE) Not shown enough form to suggest a good run today.

Forest Ivory (NZ) Unlikely to pose a threat on first hurdle race for well over a year.

Heart of Avondale (IRE) Didn't appreciate the ground last time after previously running well on firmer ground; faces tough task from out of the handicap.

Bullfinch 22lb out of the handicap.

Mister Doon (IRE) 27lb out of the handicap.

Prokofiev (USA) Not one to rely on; shock winner last time but unlikely to follow up.

Lucky Master (IRE) Too far out of the handicap.
