South African Willie le Roux looks like being the latest big-name signing by Premiership club Wasps.

The full-back is expected to join Kurtley Beale and Danny Cipriani at the Ricoh Arena next season, and would be a replacement for Kiwi Charles Piutau who has agreed a one-year deal with Ulster.

Le Roux, 26, has been a Springbok for the past three years, collecting 34 caps for his country.

Meanwhile, Wasps coach Dai Young will be keeping his fingers crossed that new signing Beale will not be sidelined for too long and hope that the arrival of Le Roux will compensate for the loss of the Australian centre.

Beale tore knee tendons playing for the Waratahs shortly after agreeing a deal to join Wasps and may be out of action for up to six months.

On Saturday, Wasps face Exeter Chiefs in the semi-final of the Aviva Premiership play-offs.
