Leigh Halfpenny was put off by the Star Wars theme tune as he attempted a conversion during Toulon's win over Racing 92.
The Wales full-back was lining up a touchline conversion after Ma'a Nonu had scored on the stroke of half-time, when the tune was played through the stadium's PA system.
Halfpenny sliced his kick across the posts and looked furious as the teams headed to the dressing rooms.
Halfpenny feeling the force was one of a number of strange incidents from Toulon's 17-11 win over the Top 14 champions.
Players from both teams donned blazers as they entered the pitch prior to kick-off, with Racing raising a glass of champagne.
Racing fly-half Dan Carter said on social media: "A first time for everything! Sticking to Racing tradition wearing our blazers and toasting a glass of champagne before the match. Toulon too good tonight."
Carter kicked two penalties for Racing and he appeared to have converted Dimitri Szarzewski's second-half try, but to his surprise the assistants' flags stayed down.
