Highlights of a thrilling second Test between New Zealand and the British and Irish Lions

The British and Irish Lions salvaged the series with a 24-21 win against New Zealand in Wellington on Saturday.

New Zealand were reduced to 14-men after 25 minutes when Sonny Bill Williams was sent off for a dangerous shoulder charge to the head of wing Anthony Watson.

Despite their one-man advantage, though, the Lions were almost made to pay for poor discipline, with All Blacks fly-half Beauden Barrett kicking seven penalties from 10 attempts, but second-half tries from No 8 Taulupe Faletau and scrum-half Conor Murray, plus 14 points from Owen Farrell, saw them home.

It was New Zealand's first home defeat since South Africa beat them in 2009, and their first against the Lions for 24 years.

The Lions know they have plenty to work on - Warren Gatland spoke about their poor discipline and kicking game - but the Lions have given themselves a chance of immortality as they head to Auckland for next Saturday's Test series showdown.
