Scott takes a rainy journey up to Whangarei ahead of the first British & Irish Lions match

Three of the British and Irish Lions visited Whangarei Hospital, while the Fan Van got its first visit from a Lions player!

On the third day of the Fan Van journey, Scott Quinnell and the boys headed up to Whangarei in rainy conditions to set up shop for the opening game against the New Zealand Provincial Barbarians on Saturday morning, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 8am.

During the journey, Scott took the time to critique Eoin's driving, as well as give Luke some invaluable marriage advice.

When the trio arrived, it was back to business as they met up with three of the Lions players - Sam Warburton, Kyle Sinckler, and Ben Te'o - who were paying a visit to Whangarei Hospital after training.

Sinckler then became the first Lions player to step inside the Fan Van, chatting to Scott about the excitement of being part of the 2017 Lions tour.
