Will Greenwood says England will face a stern test in the Six Nations on Saturday as their opponents Wales are playing "like the Harlem Globetrotters".
Warren Gatland's injury-ravaged side brushed Scotland aside 34-7 in a hugely impressive victory as they began their campaign last weekend.
Former England centre Greenwood was so impressed that he believes Wales were the stand-out team during the first round of the Six Nations fixtures.
He said: "If England are all raw power, then Wales could be the Harlem Globetrotters.
"Some of the handling in their pack was just sensational. I'm talking about (Josh) Navidi, (Aaron) Shingler, Cory Hill, Rob Evans, Samson Lee. It was like watching a Fijian Sevens team.
"Rhys Patchell fills that No 10 jersey and just looked glorious. Hadleigh Parkes had a zero error count in the midfield. Scott Williams was as tough as old boots.
"Theirs was the stand-out performance in week one."
Despite all the plaudits for Wales' performance, it is England who top the table following their 46-15 thrashing of Italy.
Greenwood, who was in Rome for the game, said: "England looked pretty powerful. The (George) Ford - (Owen) Farrell axis seems to have this telepathic nature at 10 and 12.
"They've got a couple of sprinters who'd look good in a 4x100m team, in (Anthony) Watson and (Jonny) May.
"The power of the set piece with Dan Cole a lynchpin at tighthead. They were good.
"Italy weren't the biggest test, they've got four more much bigger tests to come. It was a seven and a half out of 10."
