Julian Savea will play for the Barbarians against New Zealand at Twickenham on November 4.

The winger was left out of New Zealand's 37-man touring squad, but will feature for the Baa-Baas against the world champions, live on Sky Sports.

Savea was also dropped by coach Steve Hansen for the Rugby Championship in August, despite scoring 46 tries in just 54 Tests for the All Blacks.

He was also the leading try-scorer at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, but Savea is not set to appear for his country next month.

"Julian has been a very, very good All Black for us and done some great things," said Hansen.

"I feel for him a wee bit at this stage. He's disappointed and so he should be. He's done a lot in the jersey, he's enhanced it when he has worn it and his time is not over."

Hansen has included four uncapped players in the All Blacks squad who also face forthcoming Tests against France, Scotland and Wales.

Savea will be joined by fellow countrymen Andy Ellis, Mitchell Drummond, Richie Mo'unga, Atu Moli, Dominic Bird and Dillon Hunt in a Barbarians side coached by Robbie Deans.

November's match between the All Blacks and the Barbarians is in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the New Zealand Rugby Union.
