Cardiff Blues have insisted there are "a number of exciting opportunities available" as they consider moving from their Arms Park home.

The Blues have been unable to reach an agreement with landlords Cardiff Athletic Club (CAC) to extend the current lease at the stadium, which expires in four years.

A statement on the club's website read: "Following a meeting of the Cardiff Blues board, the decision was made to redouble efforts to secure a long-term home with a 'fit for purpose' stadium.

"Therefore the company will now explore alternative options away from Cardiff Arms Park."
