He played very well on his first Test start. The way he create Laumape's try was quite outstanding. This kid has got a really bright future.

He played much better than he did in the second Test. Going forward he should play at 14 as opposed to full-back.

13. Anton Lienert-Brown - 9

This guy is going to be world-class. His solid performance underlined that he is one of the best outside-centres New Zealand possess at the moment.

12. Ngani Laumape - 7

There was talk of Malakai Fekitoa replacing the suspended Sonny Bill Williams but Laumape got the nod and did his job well. He was in the right place at the right time to score New Zealand's first try.

11. Julian Savea - 7

He was brought back into the Test team and was used a lot, coming off the wing and getting into the game. He stuck his hand up and made a real impact, especially in the first 20 minutes, but his spurned try-scoring opportunity lingers in the memory.

10. Beauden Barrett - 9

Beaudy was back to his best. Missing that first kick probably didn't do his confidence any good but he didn't let that affect his performance. He took the ball to the gain-line well and created plenty of opportunities, particularly in the opening quarter.

9. Aaron Smith - 7

By his standards he had a relatively quiet game. It was faultless but didn't set the world alight.

5. Sam Whitelock - 7

Along with Rettallick, came under a bit of pressure at the lineout. That will be an area of concern for the All Blacks ahead of the Rugby Championship.

6. Jerome Kaino - 6

7. Sam Cane - 6

I didn't see much of Sam Cane in the game, it appeared to pass him by.

8. Kieran Read - 7

He took a bit of a knock early on and didn't have the same impact he had previously. The way he handled his 100th Test on such an occasion was phenomenal though.
