Sean Fitzpatrick has selected his New Zealand XV to face the British and Irish Lions if the first Test was today.
The former All Blacks captain cast his eye over New Zealand's Super Rugby teams, who are enjoying another dominant season, and selected the in-form players.
Sean's selection also highlights New Zealand's injury crisis, with key players such as captain Kieran Read, Sonny Bill Williams, Dane Coles and Ben Smith among those currently sidelined.
Three Barrett brothers are included with Jordie at full-back, Beauden at 10 and Scott at blindside flanker, while Aaron Smith gets the nod over TJ Perenara at scrum-half.
With concerns over whether Coles will be fit for the Lions series, Codie Taylor is selected at hooker.
Sean Fitzpatrick's current New Zealand XV: 15 Jordie Barrett, 14 Waisake Naholo, 13 Anton Lienert-Brown, 12 Ryan Crotty, 11 Julian Savea, 10 Beauden Barrett, 9 Aaron Smith; 1 Joe Moody, 2 Codie Taylor, 3 Owen Franks, 4 Sam Whitelock, 5 Brodie Retallick, 6 Scott Barrett, 7 Sam Cane (c), 8 Ardie Savea.
