Rugby club Bath have confirmed the signing of Samoan scrum-half Kahn Fotuali’i for the 2016/17 season.

Fotuali'i, who has 28 caps for Samoa, joins the Aviva Premiership club from Northampton Saints where he was part of their Premiership title-winning side in 2014.

"I'm really excited to be joining Bath," the former Osprey's full-back told Bath's official website. "They have an exciting, attacking ethos, which I'm looking forward to being part of, and I really like the focus that is put on individual development of players.

"You can always continue to learn as a player, so I'm looking forward to getting started and preparing for the season ahead."

"This, along with his experience, will bring added leadership and competitiveness to our squad, which will no doubt push it forward."
