Leicester have lost fly-half Owen Williams and flanker Brendon O'Connor for around two months to injuries.

Williams broke his jaw playing in the Tigers' thrilling derby win over Northampton. He has undergone surgery and will be out for two months.

Kiwi O'Connor damaged his hamstring in the opening minutes of the same match and is out for around seven weeks.

Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: "Owen has had surgery and the injury is obviously very disappointing for him and for us because he has been playing well.
