Wasps have announced that Samoa international prop James Johnston has left the club to "pursue alternative options".
Johnston joined the club last year from Saracens, and leaves without playing a game for the Aviva Premiership club in his five months with them.
He suffered an injury while with Samoa during the build-up to last year's World Cup, and subsequent injuries have meant he has been unable to train fully.
Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: "It is unfortunate that James has not been able to train regularly since joining the club, as we were really looking forward to seeing the impact he could make in a Wasps shirt.
"Unfortunately for both parties, this couldn't happen, and he leaves with our very best wishes for his next steps."
