Worcester Warriors have signed lock Will Spencer from Bath.

Spencer, who will make the move in the summer, joined Bath academy in 2010 and has made 11 appearances since making his debut in 2014.

He spent the 2013-14 season on loan at London Welsh but the 6ft 7in Hampshire-born forward is currently down the pecking order under coach Mike Ford.

"Will is a hungry young second rower who will add vital competition to the pack," said Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan.

"Having worked alongside some of the Premiership's top players, he already has some great experience and we're looking forward to helping him try to realise his potential here at Sixways."

Spencer added: "From speaking to Dean Ryan and former colleague Tom Heathcote, Worcester feels like the right place for me to further my career over the next few seasons.
